Giving Back

Our Mission

Giving back to the community is engrained in our company culture. It's something that brings great joy to the Power Crunch team. Our purpose goes beyond providing delicious protein snacks, as we partner with our community to support education, youth, families, military, and first responders.

Boys & Girls Club

Since 2016, Power Crunch has supported Boys & Girls Clubs of America. With the world getting back to normal, we were able to volunteer again at different clubs across the country and work with our partners to bring some exciting events and field trips!

Power Crunch sent club members to a Cincinnati Reds Baseball game, the field trip was a home run!  We also hosted a group of teens from New Jersey to experience a fun day at a water park in the summer. Power Crunch partnered with Feed the Children to host a Back to School event at a club in California where the kids received school supplies, backpacks, non-perishable food and much more! And lastly, The JED Foundation hosted 2 mental health workshops to teen members at a local New Jersey Club.

You can help us support young teens and youth in our community by donating directly to Boys & Girls Clubs of America!

Feed the Children

Power Crunch is proud to partner with Feed the Children's Feed and Read Event.  We had the opportunity to volunteer at the Feed and Read event at the Boys and Girls Club of Anaheim. Power Crunch donated protein bars, toys and additional funds to help 300 families.

Feed the Children is one of the leading anti-hunger organizations. They distributed approximately 92.6 million pounds of food and essential items worldwide to benefit more than 11.5 million people globally. Feed the Children reached more than 8.2 million children and families in the United States with distributions of shelf-stable food and essential household items valued at approximately $317 million. Benefited more than 3.3 million people in the international communities where we work.

They also helped 234 U.S. school districts with more than $3.8 million in teaching supplies as well as books valued at more than $5.3 million to reach more than 873,000 students.

You can help us support the youth in our community by donating directly to Feed the Children!

Blessings in a Backpack

Blessings in a Backpack is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. During the 2021–2022 school year, they distributed nearly 3.2 million bags of ready-to-eat food to children at 1,118 schools in 46 U.S. states and the District of Columbia.

Power Crunch was excited to partner with Blessings in a Backpack and their School Investor Program to provide food packs for 200 kids for an academic year to the Nevitt Elementary School in Phoenix, Arizona!

Since 2009, Blessings in a Backpack has provided 26.7 million hunger-free weekends (aka bags of ready-to-eat food) for more than 927,000 children nationwide.

$150 will feed one child on the weekends for one 38-week school year through the Blessings in a Backpack program—the results: nourished kids ready to learn. Food is an essential building block, and in this case, it is truly a blessing, especially to a hungry child!

Did you know that 13 MILLION CHILDREN are experiencing food insecurity? That’s one in six American children who may be struggling with access to food. The consequences of hunger are much more than a growling stomach. Poor nutrition can result in a weaker immune system, increased hospitalization, lower IQ, shorter attention spans, and lower academic achievement. Children are fed during the school week by federal government programs. We want to make sure they’re getting nutritional meals over the weekend, too.
